Job description
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner who has extensive experience of working within the Asia Pacific region.
Reporting into the HR Director, Asia Pacific Sales based in Sydney Australia, this role will act as a true Senior HR Business Partner for our Asia Sales team with a client base across Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Korea and China, and will also be the primary Country HR contact for all Gartner Singapore associates. Due to significant and continued growth in the Asia region this role will have a broad HR remit, with the opportunity to drive new HR initiatives and projects across the sales group.



Key responsibilities of this role include:
Responsibility for delivering best practice HR Business Partner activities across the Asia Sales group including leadership coaching, performance management, cyclical HR activities and individual development planing.
Effective delivery of country-specific ER expertise and guidance to local and international internal stakeholders, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regional employment legislation requirements and obligations.
On-going development and review of local Country HR policies, delivery, and procedures, proactively helping Gartner to mitigate legal risk in relevant jurisdictions
Execution of the Regional and global Gartner HR strategy and initiatives, leading the role out of HR Sales programs across the region, within a localized context.
Collaborate effectively with the HR Centres of Excellence (C&B/Recruiting/L&D) to ensure a seamless HR service delivery is provided across the region.


Attributes and Qualification:
Minimum of 10 years’ plus relevant HR Business Partner experience within an MNC environment.
Strong Regional HR Operations and Employee Relations experience within the Asia Region is essential.
Proven ability to effectively manage operational and global cyclical HR activities and initiatives within a regional context
Capability to thrive working in a fast paced, complex, MNC matrix organizational structure
Solutions orientated, with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
Exceptional relationship building and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organisation.
Adaptability and with a ‘hands on’ approach to delivering best practice HR.
Relevant qualification (Degree/Masters) in HR or applicable subject.
