Job Description
The person in this role is required to facilitate the efficient and timely booking of cross border transactions into the OBLs while ensuring compliance with WB policies, processes and procedures and ensure complete and accurate MIS is prepared for all stakeholders.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
1) Portfolio Management
a. Working closely with the CIC , CF, TB, and FM teams and particularly the IBSM teams to ensure that there is a reasonable line of sight on the projected volumes and demand growth for offshore deals and working with IBSM to track OBL capacity and utilisation are at desired levels
b. Ensuring that the CIC Heads in the OU and OBLs are kept informed of the utilisation and volume trends across the originating and booking units;
c. Facilitate timely & accurate reporting on OBL portfolio.

d. Manage expectations of various stakeholders and ensure that the policy is uniformly implemented across various OBLs and the originating units
e. In conjunction with the Country CIC Head and the OBL Governance Committee, ensure that OBLs are sufficiently capacitised to handle future volume growths

2) OBL Risk Framework
a. Work with relevant key stakeholders to ensure identified risks and issues are documented, discussed, escalated where necessary and subsequently resolved

3) Transaction Approval
a. Facilitate the booking of offshore originated transactions into the OBLs in accordance with the Global OBL Roles & Responsibilities and other related documents.
b. For each individual OBL transaction ensure compliance to Group policies & procedures, individual OBL booking criteria, operational, local Legal & regulatory requirements, as well as laws pertaining to AML and CDD.

4) Process Improvement
a. Identify opportunities to drive and implement simplification and standardisation where relevant and applicable
b. Monitor OBLs to ensure all aspects regarding infrastructure and performance are optimal and effective.

5) Key Relationships

OU Relationship Managers Pre-booking, monitoring, BCAs and GICs
CRC Pre-booking compliance and limit loading
Credit Risk management
Tax & Transfer Pricing Pre-booking compliance & Financial reallocation
Legal & Compliance Pre-booking compliance
Financial Crime Risk Risk management for AML & CDD/GICs
Operations Transaction booking and monitoring

Qualifications & Skills

Good knowledge of CIC business and a broad understanding of C&I banking; multi-discipline experiences beneficial
Relevant product/ banking experience of 12 years and more
Strong interpersonal skills in networking, stakeholder management and influencing decisions taken in the business and in infrastructure teams
* Influencing peer group or seniors within & outside CICs
* Strong knowledge of key markets in the region or the product
* Experience of leading change management projects
* Strong analytical skills and ability to make decisions. Significant attention to detail required.
* Structured, process-driven and thorough individual
* Strong communication skills - Oral, written and presentation
* Strong business judgment and strong in operational control and risk assessment important in a multifunctional and multicultural team environment
