Director - Sales - Vision Critical Communications - Singapore


Job description
You will be based in Singapore and play a key role in leading the sales efforts for key accounts across South East Asia. You are a tenacious hunter who is not afraid of working outside of the norm to drive rapid and robust expansion of the book of business.

Responsibilities
Serve as a leader in new business development and strategic partnerships in South East Asia as part of our Asia Pacific team

Increasing our presence & customer base in Singapore, working with our partner network, performing web demos and face to face sales pitches
Proposal writing and follow-up
Negotiation and product pricing (within pre-defined guidelines)
Solicit feedback to refine sales direction, product offering and pitches
Upkeep of all ongoing sales activities in CRM including weekly snapshot reporting to VP
Liaise with inside sales team to pick-up leads generated from cold calls
Work collaboratively with marketing team to ensure marketing activities are aligned with sales priorities

Requirements
BA in Business or related field and 8+ years’ experience in sales/business development
Background in software, technology or market research sales is ideal
Born to sell in an intellectual way – conceptual selling comes naturally
Proven track record of delivering on sales targets and developing new business
Strong interpersonal, writing, negotiation, organizational and communication skills are key
Passionate about sales/business results, with a strong sense of accountability, metrics and ownership
Must be articulate, have excellent presentation skills selling to VP (or higher) executives in a boardroom setting
Collaborate with APAC MD, global sales organization, service delivery teams.
Collaborate with regional & global marketing for APAC marketing planning & implementation (Including Digital, Marketing Events, Sponsorships, Advertisements, Speaking engagements and Public Relations).
Mandatory written and writing expertise in English and Mandarin
Nice to have would be to speak and understand Malay
