Director Transaction Management JLL Singapore

An opportunity to lead a diverse team of real estate consultancy professionals for a global JLL client. The role will be to manage a dedicated team appointed to deliver an Integrated Portfolio Solutions (IPS) scope. The team consists of Transaction Management specialists based in Singapore and India, Occupancy Planning, Strategic Portfolio Management, Lease Administration and Estate Management. The successful candidate will be accountable for creating and delivering a whole range of possible real estate and workplace solutions to a client looking for the next generation benefits that come from a vested partnership with JLL. This is a seconded role with a Fortune 500 company covering APAC and the Middle East.
Responsibilities

Create opportunities to optimize the client portfolio and provide a workplace fit for their future, this will include master planning

Accountable for the transaction process including acquisitions, dispositions, lease restructures, relocations, renewals, rent reviews, subleases, and dispositions

Account governance

Compliance and reporting

Risk management

Performance management

Stakeholder management

Team management and development

Budgeting and financial reporting


Skills Required

Ability to approach tasks with initiative, has a clear and efficient way of doing things and with a mind for creative problem solving

Ability to create opportunities and build strong working relationships across the firm

Confidence to adapt and is able to perform under pressure

Strong communication and financial management skills

Diplomatic but assertive and has a good understanding of regional cultural differences and practices

Shows strong leadership skills and has ability to manage teams remotely

Can orchestrate complex activities across multiple countries/properties/services at once to accomplish goals.

Builds and sustains lasting relationships with clients


Required Qualifications & Experience

Working across APAC experience would be advantageous, or across countries

An Asian language would be considered an advantage

Ability to demonstrate success in managing a diverse team

Experience in portfolio consulting and cross border transaction management

Minimum 7 years related or transferable client management experience
