The Field Evangelism team is responsible for helping develop the overall corporate messages across all of Dell’s product groups, and delivering an exciting, engaging introduction to Dell’s strategy to customers across the globe.
If you love talking with customers daily, traveling around the region to share your excitement in person and delivering new messages quickly, you might be a fit for our team of dedicated field evangelists. Our worldwide team primarily support executive briefings (hundreds per year across the team), field marketing events and Tier 1 events such as Dell EMC World, VMworld, etc.
Key Competencies:
· Comfortable speaking to audiences of 10 to 1000.
· Collaborating closely with Engineering, Product Management and Sales Leadership to refine product positioning.
· Wide ranging knowledge of challenges in IT, including compute, network, storage and security.
· Able to learn new material quickly.
· Able to travel 50% with less than 2 weeks notice on a regular basis
· Experienced with Microsoft PowerPoint to edit & create presentations
· Excellent written communications skills, as 90% of communication with the remainder of the team is via chat & email.
· Effortlessly fluent in English, both written and spoken
· Passionate about doing the right thing for customers and the company.
· Participating in Analyst Briefings and engagements including analyst summits
· Participating in Press Briefings and engagements to promote the company through media channels.
· 5+ years in a customer facing role, 3 years public speaking experience.
